Now that I am on bed rest while waiting for our twin boys to make their appearance into the world, I have extra time to get caught up on posting photos from recent sessions!

There are exciting changes in store for Jenny Marrs Photography! First off, I have a new look with my new logo. I love the design and think it will be help incorporate my style of whimsy and fun photography into my blog and website. I hope you all like it...
I'm also working on a brand new blog. I should have news soon on when it will be up and running...and I will announce where you can find me at my new blog address!
Also, in the fall, I will be hosting a grand opening of my downtown studio! It is such a wonderful space and I can't wait to use it more often. I am holding off until the fall because I am due any day now with our twin boys...so, I'm expecting life to get pretty hectic for awhile! I will send out details for the big grand opening celebration as soon as the event is coordinated...it will be a lot of fun and I hope to see a lot of old friends and new faces!

I recently found this great abandoned barn hidden off a little back road. I knew it would be a great place for portraits and I couldn't wait to try it out!
These turned out to be some of my favorite photos...the atmosphere, the light and these girls and this little guy were all just perfect! We had a blast capturing these images.

I recently had the honor of photographing my good friend, Cathy, with her husband, dad and her brother and sister-in-law. Her dad and brother and sister-in-law all live in St. Louis and were in town for the weekend when we coordinated the session. It was an honor to photograph this wonderful family (and dad's sweet pup, Sadie)! They are very close and I hope these photos will be treasured keepsakes for their family for years to come. I had the pleasure of taking little Natalie's 2 month pictures last week. She is growing and changing so quickly! I love that her mom decided to do photos every month in order to keep track of all of her changes. And, this sweet little outfit was her mom's when she was a baby! How adorable is that?!

I have, once again, neglected this blog and I apologize! I keep telling myself that I need to get better about providing updates on here and I will keep trying, I promise! But sometimes, life just gets in the way and things get so busy that this blog slips to the wayside of my "to-do" list.
With that being said, things are still very busy and getting busier now that we are on the brink of Spring! I am so excited to get back outdoors with beautiful lighting and spring colors for sessions! I have been scouting new locations every time I go out in our NW Arkansas vicinity. I can't wait to try out some of my new spots.
I'm also trying to get as many sessions booked between now and May as possible because I am due with my twin boys at the end of June! So, I'm not sure how much (if at all) I'll be able to shoot during June. Needless to say, the Marrs' household is in full "nesting" mode! We are in the midst of preparing for the arrival of our babies and can't wait to meet them! And, I can't wait to photograph their sweet faces:)

I have been so busy lately that I haven't had a chance to post some of my favorite images from a recent session with two beautiful families. The moms are sisters so we tried to get some shots of the families separately and of the kids together. I say "tried" because with three young kids, you're not always going to get everyone to cooperate (at the same time)!
It was such a fun and busy session with these little ones keeping me on my toes! They are just adorable kiddos...see for yourself, here are a few of my favorites...
