I cannot believe that summer is officially over! As excited as I am about Fall and the crisp, cool air...I feel somewhat like I took a long nap and woke up to find time just passed by and I missed a few months somewhere along the way. It was such a busy summer and it went by way too fast. Now that Fall is officially here, I am going to try to enjoy each moment of this short season and remember that the beautiful, colorful leaves that are just beginning to appear will all too soon be gone. Just this morning, as I drove through the foggy morning in the hilly area where we live, I was overcome by the beauty that surrounded me and felt very blessed. The beginning of a new season is like the turning of a page of our life, it is bittersweet - saying goodbye to one piece of our story while anxiously awaiting all that lies ahead.
With that being said, I will try to be better about updating my blog, as well! I have been so busy lately that this is one of the things that falls to the bottom of my long "to do" list...
One of the fun projects that my husband and I have been working on this summer has been "the studio." It is really coming along! Here are a couple of shots of the interior now - these are not the best photos as I took them the other day with my little point and shoot camera. It was all I had with me but I think the space is becoming so beautiful and cozy - I just had to share! After looking through these updated photos, take a look back at the "before" shots on this post: http://jennymarrsphotography.typepad.com/my_weblog/2009/03/new-studioa-work-in-progress.html. What a transformation! And, now all of the real fun will begin...decorating and furniture!
